Andrew Sutton

Andrew, an Engineering Graduate from UC Santa Barbara, started dancing in 1998 with a beginner lesson at the UCSB Swing and Ballroom Dance Club. As with most of us, he was instantly hooked. It wasn't long before he dreamt of making dancing, rather than engineering, his career.

Today he is a full-time travelling Lindy Hop instructor with roots in Sacramento, California. Andrew travels all round the United States, Europe and Australia teaching at international workshops and small local scenes alike. He specializes in helping Lindy Hop communities unite and grow, and getting fledgling scenes started towards building larger scenes.

Andrew Started traveling with the Flyin' Lindy Hoppers in 1999, and continuned on his own in 2001. He has had the opportunity to work and teach with the best Lindy Hoppers from all over the world. All of his classes are his own creations inspired by many instructors around the world using his own unique and original ways to explain the dance.

Andrew loves the dance, and we are sure he will share his joy with you.

Being in a prime location for travel, Jesse began taking regular trips to Los Angeles and San Francisco and being so impressed by the quality of dancers in those location started attending as many classes and workshops as he could. Jesse also took this time to start building a large musical and dance clip collection rooted in the History of Lindy Hop.

FG Courtney

It's easy to spot FG on the dance floor just look for the big perma-grin. FG caught the swing dancing bug in Washington, DC's lively scene and was soon dancing at every opportunity. She was featured with her team partner in an article in the Washington Post Magazine. Later she jumped on an opportunity to return to her native South, and quickly became actively involved in Atlanta's swing dance community. FG performed and competed with the "Eight Week Wonders" (DC) and "Big George Savoy Bouncers" (Atlanta) performance teams. Social dancing is FG's love; she enjoys sharing the joy of dancing with her dance partners and helping beginning dancers discover the joy of that partnership.
