new wednesday venue

The proprietor of the Graveyard Tavern, Mr. James Brooks, has repeatedly expressed a desire to have dancers come and liven up the atmosphere of his fine establishment. Every Wednesday night, he and two his cohorts play the Jazz and Blues music that God intended all Americans to dance to. And, if I do say so myself, they do a darn good job of it.

If you haven’t been, it is an incredible atmosphere with beautiful hardwoods inside a century old building. Starting next Wednesday (December 12th), he will be clearing out a dance floor to welcome all comers. $4 gains you the privilege of entry.

Thank God. We really need some intown dancing. Sounds like it could be a fun venue. Anyone going next week?

Depending on if I have prior engagements that night, I just might. It'll be cool to have dancing on Wednesday nights. Now I can go dancing 7 days a week!

A small group showed up last night, it was a lot of fun.

I talked to Jim (the propietor and band leader), he was really excited about having us next week.

I'm not lying when I say that this is a great venue. It looks exactly how a swing dance venue should look. I promise that this place is not going to disappoint.

TONS of people out tonight. Great band, hardwood floors from the 20's and 30's.... count me in every week from here on out!
