ASEDA: Atlanta's Swing Dance Community

If you haven't heard, on August 13th at Hot Jam there is going to be a SOLO CHARLESTON TEAM BATTLE. (That's right! We'll randomly split up teams (playground style). Then, you'll have a few seconds to huddle up, elect a team captain & talk strategy with your mates. Then, it's on! Members from each team will battle it out TO LIVE MUSIC, displaying their most impressive solo charleston skillz. FREE sign-up at the door! As always, judged by audience applause. Rubber chicken key chains awarded to winning team.)

We'll be dancing to the awesome tunes of the Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz band--perfect for rockin' your solo charleston.

Just to clarify:
This Saturday workshop will be of a more advanced level than the class I'm teaching at Hot Jam on Monday the 13th. Both classes will have sweet, sweet solo jazz moves. But this workshop will have sweet, but more difficult solo jazz moves.

In other words...Take both classes because they willkick ass anyway

Learn some upper-level solo jazz skillz -- show 'em off at Hot Jam on Monday the 13th to the awesome sounds of the Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz Band, or just keep them to yourself for your own personal amusement and self-congratulation. This class will show you some hot moves (slides, kicks, jumps, fancy footwork patterns) and the techniques that make your solo dancing look sweeeet.
