Hey guys! I miss Atlanta a lot, especially when I hear about cool things that I probably could never get into or afford if it were in New York.

I heard about such a thing today and wanted to share it with you immediately! Check this out:

Amazing swinging jazz trombonist/composer Wycliffe Gordon will appear at the National Black Arts Festival‘s annual summer event tonight (July 14) with a live performance of his original soundtrack to the 1920s silent film “Body and Soul,” starring Paul Robeson. He's incredibly talented and a really nice guy, too.

If you go, please report back -- I'm really curious! Hope to see y'all next time I'm down there! :)
