Good morning ASEDA folks!

The Board met over the weekend to discuss our plans for world domina...uh, Swing in Atlanta.

In order to help keep the lines of communication going, we have given our Directors some "directions"

Erica DeBlasio will be our Instructor Liason - If you are teaching classes, have questions, need help, let us know. If you have a class with 14 leads and 2 follows, let us know. Erica is a tremendous coordinator and can work with you to make sure we keep the floor learning!

Bela Jacobson will be our Social Director -- How cool is that? Say you want to get a group of folks together for a picnic - let her know. Putt putt golf tournament? She's all over it. How about dinner and a movie with 20 of your ASEDA friends? Oh yeah...she loves SciFi and anything with killer robots. Bela will be getting fun activities together to help us build our community!

John Ford is taking over the Membership Chair. He is already working on a super-all powerful AI to control membership renewals - via that internet thing (you know...all those tubes around the world). Keeping track of the multitude of members takes a lot of technology. John has a vast amount of experience with making things "tick" and is really good at installing the "ASEDA tracking chip" we all know and love...

Kristy Alcala will be our College Community Liasion. Kristy has close ties to some of the existing College Organizations, as well as some up and coming new Swing Groups. With the skilled hands of an clay artisan, she will help mold and sculpt our College Groups into finely honed and polished organizations. Kristy will also help ASEDA work smoothly with each group so they have the tools they need to grow.

F.G. Courtney has graciously accepted the reigns of the "Swingin' From the Heart" Organization. Although this group is its own "corporation," ASEDA believes in this group and supports it whole-heartedly. For this group, we asked F.G. to work with ASEDA to make sure we do whatever we can to make sure SFTH prospers.

Lisa Blackwell - We have Lisa on "Special Operations" - More to follow in the coming months. If you see something out of the corner of your eye, a shadow moving in the background, or something overly sparkly...it might be her. Just smile, nod, and back away slowly.

Our next ASEDA Board Meeting will be Feb 24th (Sat). 2:00 PM@ Moose's house - 3711 Canadian Way, Tucker, GA 30084. Open to active ASEDA members.
